Darnell Wright leaves practice: We’re on injury watch again and it could be the worst one yet. Wright cut his day short on Tuesday after trainers worked on discomfort in his right elbow. That’s where his torn UCL happened last season, an injury he played through after missing only one week. Hopefully Wright can do the same, but not great news that it continues to be an issue. Bears fielding trade calls on Gervon Dexter? That’s the report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz. While the Bears might not have an appetite for a Dexter extension after this season, the return would have to be a no-doubter for me to pull the trigger on the trade. The Bears simply don’t have enough quality d-line depth to act otherwise. (Windy City Gridiron)
Keyshaun Elliott and Elijah Hicks activated off PUP: The rookie linebacker and veteran defensive back were back in action on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the team signed LB Antonio Grier while placing LB Nephi Sewell on the IR.
