The Chicago Bears announced their 2026 captains on Tuesday and it’s a familiar group to Bears fans..
Caleb Williams, Joe Thuney, T.J. Edwards, Grady Jarrett and Cairo Santos were all voted in as captains by their teammates.
The only new player to join the group is Edwards. He replaces Kevin Byard, who signed with New England as a free agent over the offseason.
Williams is the longest-tenured captain on the Bears and will sport three stars on his patch, having served in the role each year of this Bears career.
All three team units are represented in the leadership with two offensive players, two defensive players and one special teamer.
